Summary

 

Flynt Management Group is seeking a Staff Counsel to provide primary legal support in the areas of contract review and management, licensure maintenance, and subpoena processing. This role will also support the General Counsel with outside counsel management, litigation oversight, compliance, and general legal advice. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, responsive, and able to deliver clear, practical legal guidance in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including vendor, services, licensing, and other commercial agreements.
  • Maintain and track company licensure requirements, ensuring timely renewals and compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Manage and coordinate responses to subpoenas, information requests, and related inquiries.
  • Support the General Counsel in overseeing outside counsel, including litigation, regulatory, compliance, and transactional matters.
  • Conduct legal research and provide concise, business-oriented advice to internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor changes in laws and regulations affecting the company and assist in implementing compliance practices.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and management of company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate across business units to balance legal risk with operational goals.
  • Prepare clear summaries of legal issues, case updates, and contract status for the General Counsel and executive team.
  • Handle additional legal matters and special projects as assigned.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active membership in the California State Bar.
  • 1–3 years of legal experience, preferably with emphasis on contracts or transactional work.
  • Strong drafting, review, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize deadlines, and work independently with sound judgment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a practical, solution-oriented approach.
  • High degree of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
  • Experience in industries such as gaming, retail, broadcasting, ecommerce, or streaming is a plus.

 

 

 

 

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

 

  • Professional office environment
    • While our offices are a strictly professional environment, due to the nature of our business involving adult content, certain roles may be exposed to adult content while performing their job functions.
  • Job requires ability to sit at a desk for extended periods of time
  • Job requires ability to lift and carry items up to 20lbs
  • In office only – 5 days per week, with every other Friday off, although due to the nature of this role, the employee may be called in to work in order to meet deadlines or join meetings.
